When you become a member of Eckankar, you receive a discourse series for your personal study. You study one lesson a month at home. If you like, you can also join an ECK Satsang class to share experiences, insights, and questions.
Think back. Try to remember your feelings when you first learned of the ECK teachings. Perhaps you felt excitement or, likely, even a bit of hesitation as you made a bold leap from old to new.
Soon the spiritual changes began within you. Rocky in some cases, but necessary, for the ECK was bringing you into a closer alliance of love with Itself.
The inner and outer teachings of ECK came together to mold and shape a whole new spiritual consciousness out of what had once been your personal road to nowhere. Secret, indeed, are the teachings of the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.
The Letters of Light & Sound 2 Discourses series helps you focus on the goals of spiritual realization and God-Realization. It looks at our system of living. The structure behind the whirlpool of everyday events has a divine intent: to nudge you ever closer toward a richer, more direct relationship with the Spirit of God, the ECK.

The ECK discourses are written with a secret, internal rhythm that gradually unfolds your consciousness in a very precise and orderly manner.
When you become a member of Eckankar, you receive a discourse series for your personal study. You study one lesson a month at home. If you like, you can also join an ECK Satsang class to share experiences, insights, and questions.
The purpose of Satsang is to help you find your own relationship with Divine Spirit. Satsang is a spiritual forum for ECK members to explore the wisdom of the ECK discourses together. Led by a trained teacher (Arahata), classes meet monthly for an hour to an hour and a half reviewing a lesson you've read at home.
Pay close attention to the gentle rhythm in The Easy Way Discourses, for it carries the secret melody of divine love, wisdom, and understanding. God is love. There is no higher truth than that. However, few people ever find it because of a fear of giving up old ideas and habits, even though they are the cause of most misery and anxiety in life.
A new world awaits you. Be willing to put a little time, effort, and a lot of heart in the ECK teachings. That is the only way to gain a rich appreciation of the hidden life of Divine Spirit.
You are now ready to start the road to spiritual freedom.
